Effective date: October 1, 2026.
We want to hear when something has gone wrong, so we can put it right and learn from it.
What you can complain about
You may raise a complaint about any aspect of IIAIM’s work. Examples include our programs and events, our research and publications, our handling of your personal information, the conduct of anyone who represents IIAIM, and our response to you.
How to make a complaint
Please write to ceo@iiaim.com, or use the contact form and choose “Complaint or concern.” Please describe what happened, when it happened, who was involved and the outcome you seek.
What happens next
- We acknowledge your complaint within five business days.
- A person who was not involved in the matter investigates it. That person may contact you for more information.
- We send you a written response within 20 business days. If we need more time, we will tell you why and when to expect our response.
If you are not satisfied
You may ask for a review of your complaint. The Chief Executive Officer conducts the review. If your complaint concerns the Chief Executive Officer, the Chair of the Board conducts it. The outcome of that review is IIAIM’s final response.
Other routes
- You may also raise a complaint about our handling of personal information with your data protection authority.
- You may raise concerns about conduct at an event under our code of conduct.
- IIAIM does not provide medical care. Please direct concerns about individual treatment to the relevant health care provider.
This procedure does not limit any right you hold under applicable law.
